Gunnie Moberg is a new entry in The New Biographical Dictionary of Scottish Women published by Edinburgh University Press. Gunnie is listed between Shetlander May Moar, subject of Jessie Saxsby’s story Daughter of Sea Kings, and suffragette and actor Maggie Moffat. The book launched this week.
Gunnie Moberg’s work is currently on show now at Northlight Gallery, Stromness, in the exhibition ‘The days never seem the same’ along with the work of fellow Orkney artist, the filmmaker Margaret Tait. Margaret is also listed in The Dictionary of Scottish Women.
Dear Gunnie, an artist, still and beautiful.
I am loving getting to know the work and life of Gunnie Moberg.
