Case Closed Exhibition Open

Exhibition now open at Tankerness House, Orkney Museum, Kirkwall.

The show ‘In Print’ centres around the significant publishing career of Gunnie Moberg with images, letters and documents from the making of sixteen books Gunnie was involved with.

The exhibition of over 40 photographs also has a display of Gunnie’s cameras.

We are delighted to be showing a complete set of plates from the beautiful book Stone published in 1987.

There is a reading room off the gallery where Orkney Library has loaned copies of books for browsing and where the museum is showing the film ‘Gunnie’.

Orkney Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10:30am to 5pm (closed between 12:30 & 1:30pm).

The gallery will be open until Christmas Eve and opens again in the New Year. The exhibition runs to the 31st January 2015.
